Spanish designer Xavier Mañosa founded Apparatu in his words a "Is one studio, one workshop, one company; is something that is being defined through every project ."
He has exhibited in London, Stockholm, Milan, Barcelona and Tokyo, and collaborated with different people, Apparatu emphasizes the fundamental destructibility of their creations, even though they might seem solid they are ceramic and quite fragile.
In his ceramic collection Skating Fails a collaboration with Alex Trochut, you can see skates bent, broken, and even melting, the boards are plated with silver, gold, and aluminum, painted and transformed into ART.
